Bank of Maharashtra, founded in 1935 was nationalized in the year 1969.With headquarters in Pune, the bank has over 1400 branches spread across various parts of the country. Bank of Maharashtra has announced recruitment for 150 Probationary Officer positions.

Eligibility: Candidates interested to apply for Bank of Maharashtra PO recruitment,
* Be within 21 - 30yrs of age as on June 1, 2010
* Should have secured aggregate 60% marks in Bachelor’s degree OR 55% in Master`s
OR degree in CA/ ACS OR PG diploma in Management as on 1.06.2010
* Certificate in computers (any course) from a recognized institute is necessary.
Selection: The selection process has Objective test (Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, English) and Descriptive test. Negative marks would be awarded for each wrong answer in objective test. Those securing above minimum cut-off, set by the bank would be called for Interview in the ratio of 1:3 (450 candidates)
Application: The fee of Rs.300 (Gen/OBC) & Rs.50 (SC/ST) has to be paid at any Bank of Maharashtra branches using the payment challan. Candidates can also pay the fees through other banks by remitting the cash to the given a/c no. (Read notice).
