Food Corporation of India (FCI) – a government organization was setup to ensure the supply & distribution of food grains across India. With headquarters in New Delhi, FCI has offices across 5 zones of the country. Now FCI has announced recruitment for 1600 Assistant Grade III posts in North zone & 695 Assistant Grade III posts in West zone.

North Zone: Assistant Grade III – 1600 posts (various depts.) – Rs.9300-22940

West Zone: Assistant Grade III – 695 posts (various depts.) - Rs.9300-22940

Dates: Last date for online applications – September 7, 2010

Written examination (tentative) – 14.11.2010

Eligibility: Those interested to apply for these jobs in FCI,

Post	Education	Maximum age, as on 1.8.2010
Assistant Grade III (General)	* Degree with O level computer qualification of DOEACC OR Degree in Computer Science or Computer Application	25 yrs
Assistant Grade III (Accounts)	* Degree in Commerce/ Maths / Statistics & O level DOEACC computer qualification /Degree in Computer Science or Computer Application	25 yrs
Assistant Grade III (Quality Control)	* Degree in Science (agri preferred) & O level DOEACC computer qualification /Degree in Computer Science or Computer Application	25 yrs

Selection: The selection process consists of written test only. Short listed candidates from the test would be selected through merit after document verification.

Application: Candidates have to pay Rs.300 through DD & payable at Noida. There is no fee for SC/ ST/ PH candidates. The DD & certificates have to be sent along with the printout of online application to the mentioned address before 7.9.2010.
