Admission Card for RPET-2010 will be sent to the candidate at his/her address as mentioned in RPET- 2010 Application Form. The Coordinator RPET-2010 reserve the right to withdraw the permission granted by mistake to a candidate who is not eligible to appear at the RPET-2010 even though the Admission Card has been issued and produced by the candidate before the Centre Superintendent of RPET-2010.
In case the admission card is not received by the candidate till 10.05.2010, the candidate should contact the coordinator RPET-2010 immediately. Candidates appearing for their Final Semester Examination and expecting their results by 15th June, 2010 can also apply subject to passing the qualifying degree with specified percentage of marks at the time of interview. Candidates failing to produce the Provisional Certificate and Marks Sheet in original at the time of interview shall not be considered.

Max. Age as on 28.04.2010: 37 yrs
Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and 3 years in the case of candidates belonging to OBC
Selection
1) The selection process will consist of Written Test and Interview.
2) The tentative date for the written test will be 30.05.2010. However, candidates will be intimated separately the exact date, time and venue of the written test.
3) Only those candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks in the written test alone will be called for the interview.
Application fee
A Demand Draft for Rs.500/- in favour of "HLL Life care Limited" payable at Trivandrum to be sent along with a copy of the print out of the application submitted online/application sent through post. Those candidates belonging to SC/ST/ PWD candidates are exempted from this payment.
Training
Candidates selected as Management Trainee will be placed on training for a period of one year. On successful completion of training, they will be placed as Assistant Managers.
Emoluments
During the period of training, the Management Trainees will be given a stipend of Rs.15000/- (under revision). On placement as Assistant Manager, they will be placed in the Scale of Pay of Rs.12600 – 32500 with all other benefits which include VDA, HRA, Medical Allowance, Conveyance Allowance, Educational Allowance, Provident Fund, Earned Leave, Leave Travel Concession, Performance Related Pay, Mediclaim benefits, Interest Subsidy on Housing Loan, Interest subsidy on vehicle loan etc. as applicable to the Executives of the Company.

Punjab Technical University Jalandhar has been appointed by the Government of Punjab as the authority competent to make admissions to the first year of B. Tech. / B. Arch. / B. Genesis

Eligibility
The minimum qualification for admission to MBA programmes is a Bachelors degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Engineering/Technology/Medical/Dental/Agriculture or other professional courses from recognized universities. The candidates who will appear in final examination (Graduation) to be held in 2010 & results published by September 2010 may also apply.
How to apply
The application form may be downloaded from the websites www.wbut.ac.in and www.wbut.net. Completed application forms are to be submitted to the University office. Examination fees are Rs. 800 for general category and Rs. 400 for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates (without late fine) while the corresponding fees are Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 respectively (with late fine). The examination fees are to be paid in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of West Bengal University of Technology payable at Kolkata. British Council IELTS Scholarship 2010
The British Council is delighted to announce the launch of the British Council IELTS Scholarship for Indian students planning to study at universities overseas. In line with its mission to promote the global sharing of knowledge and ideas, the British Council will select eight students from India, each of whom will receive an award of Rs.3,00,000 towards the cost of tuition fees.
Application procedure:
Take an IELTS test with the British Council and receive your scores.
Download and complete the application form and go through the FAQs.
Last date for completed applications is 31 July 2010. You must complete selection Task.
Forty applicants will be shortlisted. We will notify you via email by 6 August 2010 whether you have been short-listed. Short-listed applicants will be required to make a ten minute presentation on a topic that will be communicated, followed by a brief interview.
We must receive from the short-listed applicants a letter of acceptance from the university you plan to attend prior to 20 August 2010.
Failure to submit your letter of acceptance by the 20 August deadline will result in your immediate removal from the short-list of applicants.
We will notify all short-listed applicants of the final result by email by 31 August 2010.
Essential eligibility criteria are that applicants must:
Be a citizen of India.
Begin full time postgraduate study outside India in 2010.
Attend a higher education institution that accepts IELTS as part of its admission requirements.
Have a valid IELTS score, with a minimum band score average 6.5.
Have taken their most recent IELTS test with the British Council.
Be able to provide an acceptance letter from the attending institution by 20 August 2010.
